Cancellation on the side of the service provider:

In the case service providers cannot cover one or more routes due to force majeure reasons (understood as natural disasters, social conflicts, political decisions affecting the service or similar), Tickets Bolivia will try to contact the Client by email as soon as the cancellation is confirmed by the Transport Operator. In this situation, the Client will have two options:

• Change or leave the departure date open (at NO EXTRA COST), to be set when the situation returns to normal, or
• Request a refund of the ticket(s), including VAT and commissions

Cancellation at the request of the client:

You can request the cancellation of one or more of the journeys by email to the address: info@ticketsbolivia.com, by text message via Facebook or WhatsApp at the number (591) 77274661, including their name, email, telephone numbers and passenger names, and TB code of the tickets. Please take into consideration the following conditions:

• If the cancellation request is made at least 72 hours in advance, we will refund 80% of the cancelled ticket. It includes commissions and taxes.
• If the cancellation request is made at least 48 hours in advance, we will reimburse 50% of the cost of the ticket. It includes commissions and taxes.
• We will not refund tickets if the cancellation request is made less than 48 hours (2 business days) before the departure of the trip.

IMPORTANT: Cancellation requests are NOT PROCESSED on Saturdays, Sundays or bank holidays. Requests are processed only on business days during working hours, Monday through Friday between 8:30 to 17:30. Payment gateways charge around US$ 1 for each refund, this amount that is not covered by Tickets Bolivia. We use US dollars for all our transactions, and your Bank may charge a commission when calculating the exchange rates with other currencies.

If you need to change the date, route or departure time to your ticket, you must let us know by email at least two business days before the date on which your trip is scheduled. Tickets Bolivia, as your representative, will manage the change with the Transport Operator and let you know if the change can be made and of any resulting penalties, additional costs and steps to follow. Tickets Bolivia does not guarantee in any way that the request will be accepted, as it depends on bus availability.

A fee may be imposed by the corresponding bus or train company in the event that changes are made to the reservation by the Client. Sometimes, in order to change a reservation, we have to cancel the original reservation, which may result in charges imposed by the corresponding bus or train company, which may include the total value of the booked trip.

If the new ticket is more expensive than the original, the client must pay the difference in cost. On the other hand, if the new ticket is cheaper, and no additional fees apply, Tickets Bolivia will reimburse the difference.

We must emphasize that when you buy tickets through Tickets Bolivia, the non-cancellation of the ticket and the absence of the passenger(s) at the place of departure of the bus or train, will result in the Transportation Operator assigning the status of "no show" to the Client(s), resulting in the loss of reimbursement rights by the Client(s).

When you buy your tickets through our website, many companies offer the possibility to choose your seats off the map of the actual bus or train you will be riding. These bus and train companies have software that is online with our system, so you can immediately know your seat numbers.

Some transportation companies do not have this software, yet. In case the bus or train company you have chosen does not have this software, they assign the seat numbers the day before your trip. In this case, you can write us an email or message through Whatsaap letting us know your seat preferences, so we can pass this information on to the transportation company before they assign the seats.

When you buy tickets through Tickets Bolivia, your seats on the bus or train are guaranteed.
