• San Ignacio de Velasco: It is the largest city in the province of Velasco. It was founded in 1748 by Jesuit missions at the foot of beautiful mountains and close to the Paragua River. The Jesuit missionaries built a monumental church with indigenous labor. The church, which stands out for its majestic wood engravings, is a tourist destination in and of itself. The town is strategically located in Gran Chuiquitanía, which is why it is the receptive center for tours to the Missionary Triangle: San Miguel, San Rafael and Santa Ana de Velasco.
• Noel Kempf Mercado Park: Noel Kempff Mercado national park is located at a distance of 198 km from San Ignacio de Velasco, on the border with Brazil. Because of its natural diversity and its remoteness, the park remains the habitat to thousands of plant and animal species, some of which are endemic to Bolivia. During rainy season, (November to May), the waterfalls "Alfeld" and "Rainbow" are an amazing natural sight. You can make eco-tours to the park of between one and seven days. In order to visit the park, you can book a tour in San Ignacio. You can also take a bus to Florida, and book the tour from there. The buses leave at 8:00 am every Friday morning, and returns to San Ignacio every Sunday.
